Every Angry Box and Really Mean Sub is cut, sprayed, wired, assembled and tested by hand in our workshop in Surrey.
Cut, Sanded And Sprayed All In The UK
Angry Box and Really Mean Sub enclosures are cut on our own CNC machine in the workshop. Each one is sanded by hand, hung on a peg in our spray booth and painted, then left to cure on the rack. The texture you feel on a finished speaker is the paint, applied one enclosure at a time.
The Amplifier Is Our Own Design, Assembled In The Workshop
We design the amplifier and DSP electronics in-house, and we assemble the amplifiers and their backplates here. Each amplifier is mounted on its backplate, wired to the mains inlet and the driver loom, and loaded with the DSP program that sets the speaker's response.
One Small Team Builds Each Speaker
The same team cuts the enclosure, sprays it, builds the amplifier, fits the driver and closes the box. No stage is sent out to another factory.
Measured And Listened To Before It Ships
Every finished speaker is measured, then listened to by a person. Only then does it go in the box.
Drivers and electronic components come from specialist suppliers. Enclosures, amplifiers, backplates and the paint finish are made in Surrey.
Every speaker carries a two-year warranty. To make a claim, write in through the support page.
