Atmos Mixing.
Any Room.
A full Dolby Atmos monitoring setup without the six-figure build cost. The Angry Box is a 14Β cm point-source cube, small enough to mount anywhere, accurate enough to mix on.

Point-Source Is The Right Tool For Atmos.
Traditional studio monitors are wedge-shaped and directional: fine for stereo, awkward when you need 13 of them pointing at a mix position. The Angry Box is a 14 cm cube with a true point-source driver: every unit sounds identical regardless of angle. Mount them flush, ceiling, side wall, height, and the image stays consistent everywhere.

14 cm. Fits Where Nothing Else Does.
Dolby Atmos demands speakers at precise positions that most monitors were never designed for. Height channels need to sit in soffits, on ceiling mounts, or on shallow wall brackets. At 14 Γ 14 Γ 14 cm and 2.5 kg, the Angry Box fits. Pair it with the Really Mean Sub for low-end extension and you have a complete immersive system designed around the rooms it actually has to go in.

Bass Management, Built In.
Every immersive config pairs Angry Boxes with the Really Mean Sub: a 400W ICEpower subwoofer with built-in room correction and dual-opposing drivers that cancel cabinet vibration. In a 7.1.4 setup you get two subs, each handling a cluster of speakers, so LFE response is consistent across the entire sound field rather than concentrated at one point.
Start 5.1. Scale To 21.1.16.
An immersive system shouldn't lock you into the format you can afford today. Begin with a 5.1 surround setup and grow to full 7.1.4, 11.1.8 or 21.1.16 Dolby Atmos using the exact same Angry Boxes and Really Mean Subs. No controller tiers, no incompatible upgrade paths. Every speaker you buy stays in the rig as it expands, so your investment scales with your studio.
A Real Atmos Rig, Per-Channel Affordable.
The reason most studios stop at stereo is cost: a traditional Atmos rig means 13 or more monitors plus matched subs, and the per-channel price spirals fast. The Angry Box brings the cost of a full immersive system down to a fraction of the usual figure: a complete 7.1.4 setup starts from Β£6,000, where the equivalent in name-brand monitors runs well into five figures. Proper Dolby Atmos monitoring, finally within reach.

The monitors most commonly specified for Dolby Atmos studios (Neumann, Genelec, PMC, ATC) are all excellent. They're also expensive per unit, which matters when a full Atmos rig requires 13 or more of them. Here's how the Angry Box stacks up on the specs that actually matter for immersive mixing.

Neumann and Genelec make excellent monitors, but they're two-way designs. In an immersive rig with 13+ speakers, the phase relationship between drivers becomes a real placement problem at height and surround positions. The Angry Box uses a single full-range driver in a true point-source configuration: every unit images identically regardless of angle, making it uniquely well-suited to Atmos. Add a form factor that fits any soffit or ceiling mount, and you have an immersive system that's actually practical to build, starting from Β£6,000.
